The finest properties for sale in North Wales are now easier to find than ever before thanks to a revolutionary new website.
Fine and Country, which specialises in selling luxury residential properties from across the world, have used the latest technology to help match people with their dream home.
The company hopes their website’s interactive features, videos, social media integration and intelligent property search will benefit everyone in the buying process.
Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents, who are Fine and Country’s exclusive agents in North Wales, welcomed the new website.
“With 88 percent of all property searches believed to start online, Fine and Country understands the importance of ensuring their website is as user-friendly and intelligent as possible,” said Dafydd Hardy, co-director of the North Wales estate agent.
“We work with Fine and Country to sell many of our top properties here in Gwynedd and Anglesey and their new website really shows them off to their full potential.”
One way this is achieved, Dafydd explained, is with short film ‘videoettes’ which feature animated vendor interviews, highlighting important lifestyle aspects that are often as important to buyers as the property specifications.
This enables buyers to narrow-down their search without physically visiting all the properties shortlisted.
Visitors to the Fine and Country website are also presented with a list of properties they may be interested in, similar to their search criteria - in the same way that Amazon recommends other products based on previous purchases.
The site then offers a variety of ways to view each property including new features such as: map view, which illustrates the proximity of properties to landmarks, villages, towns and amenities; satellite view, which shows a variety of topography and business or residential buildings; and street view, which facilitates a virtual walk down the street to see the property in-situ.
Additionally, the intelligent property search facility allows search results to be viewed in different formats to help with viewing individual properties in detail, comparing the properties on one page at a glance or in a comparison table.
Search results can even be viewed as an on-line bespoke, page-turning magazine.
Other features of the website – which is fully compatible with iPhones and iPads - include ‘Share this Property on Facebook and Twitter’, which allows buyers to show the property they are interested in or sellers to utilise their network of friends and family.
The launch of Fine and Country’s innovative website is testimony that the company has not been resting on its laurels having gained both ‘Best UK Estate Agency Marketing’ Five Star award, at the International Property Awards and gold for ‘Best Marketing’ at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards in 2010.
