North Wales property consultants have helped orchestrate a "turning point" for an Anglesey town.
The hard work of commercial experts from Dafydd Hardy Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents ensured the opening of a national fashion store in Beaumaris.
The recently opened Fat Face shop, on Castle Street, has taken over part of the recently restored 16th Century Townhouse, which belongs to the adjacent Ye Olde Bulls Head Inn.
Dafydd Hardy's team used their expertise to secure a lease between the hotel and the popular clothing company.
David Robertson, proprietor of the Bulls Head Inn, praised the work of Dafydd Hardy which ensured their partnership with Fat Face could go ahead.
"Throughout the whole process Dafydd Hardy have been very professional, quick to respond and clearly know their business," said David.
"Fat Face coming to Beaumaris could be a real turning point for the town's retail sector as they are the first national retailer to open here.
"Hopefully other companies will now see how much we have to offer and consider a move to this part of the island."
"It can only be good news if these shops bring more jobs and visitors to Beaumaris," David added.
Commercial property expert from Dafydd Hardy, Susanna Sawle, said she was delighted to have helped bring Fat Face to Beaumaris.
"As with all commercial projects you need to match the retailer with the right location and the right property," explained Susanna.
"The Bulls Head Inn have done a wonderful job with the Townhouse and we think Fat Face will be a great asset to Beaumaris."
"We've plenty of experience with this type of work but it's always good to think you've done something which could really help improve an area," Susanna added.
Fat Face themselves said they delighted to be moving to such a "fantastic" location and were looking forward to becoming part of the community.
Richard Williams from the company said: "We are thrilled to be opening in Beaumaris, we've got an excellent spot and we really hope the new store will be well received by shoppers."
