A wonderful opportunity to create a fabulous home.
If you are seeking a traditional Welsh chapel as a potential home, (Subject to Planning Permission), we would highly recommend that you view this fine looking chapel that is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Llangoed.
Although the chapel, whose construction was completed in 1862, has been well cared for over the intervening years, it is now in need of some renovative attention. The sizeable single floor property, which has a combined floor area of approximately 1620 square feet (150.5 square meters) and a floor to ceiling height of about 15 feet 9 inches (4.80 meters), benefits from a main congregation area, with a chancel and pulpit, 2 vestry rooms along with a front entrance vestibule, a side entrance lobby and a WC. We have been advised by the vendors that they are not aware of any listing on the chapel or of any restrictive covenants in the title deeds (solicitors should confirm this).
1.55m x 1.42m (5'1" x 4'8")
4.06m x 2.72m (13'4" x 8'11")
3.90m x 2.72m (12'10" x 8'11")
15.21m x 8.00m (49'11" x 26'3")
The picturesque village of Llangoed, which has its own primary school, as well a post office and convenience store, is opportunely placed for the many coastal & rural attractions to be found on Anglesey. The nearby historic town of Beaumaris sits on the banks of the Menai Strait and is renowned for its medieval castle that dates back to the reign of Edward 1, in addition to its yachting facilities and annual regatta. The town offers a range of shops, restaurants and public house, as well as 2 golf courses. A little further on, the well know town of Menai Bridge offers additional shopping and recreational facilities and close links to the A55 Expressway, allowing rapid commuting throughout Anglesey and to the mainland, passing by the acclaimed University City of Bangor and onwards towards Chester, Liverpool and Manchester, ultimately linking up with the entire UK motorway network.
From the Bangor office, take the A55 Expressway towards Anglesey and after crossing Britannia Bridge take the first exit and turn right at the T-junction onto the A5 towards Menai Bridge. On reaching the Menai Bridge roundabout, take the 2nd exit leading into the town centre. At the crossroads, follow the A545 towards Beaumaris. After entering Beaumaris, carry on straight through the town onto the B5109 and continue on this route for about 4 miles. On reaching Llangoed, you will find the chapel on your left hand side, directly opposite the village convenience store.
Then all you need to do is get in touch to ask any questions or arrange a viewing. We'd love to show you around!
