Why not holiday in style by owning your own luxury lodge within the grounds of the spectacular 450 year old Elizabeth Manor House of Plas Coch on the Isle of Anglesey! Nestled amongst 65 acres of parkland with stunning views of Eryri/Snowdonia, Plas Coch is open 12 month of the year which means you can enjoy your Anglesey holiday home all year round, 365 days a year.
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the award winning Plas Coch leisure park, just a short distance from the scenic shores of the Menai Strait is this handsome and decidedly spacious Holiday Lodge (2017 model), offering contemporary accommodation that’s pleasing on the eye and essentially a home from home – so why not holiday in style! This particular lodge stands in a most pleasing elevated position within the park grounds, enjoying a sunny south facing aspect with superb views of the Eryri/Snowdonia mountain range, including the summit of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon, which undoubtedly adds to its appeal. In addition, Plas Coch offers excellent on site facilities of swimming pool, spa, restaurant and bars as well as a children’s play area not to mention the pleasant surroundings and park grounds. The lodge comes with a spacious composite decked sun terrace/patio and dedicated private parking area. The interior is bright and airy aided by its pitched roofline with windows to all elevations whilst two sets of bi-folding doors open onto the patio which will be most welcome during the warmer months. The main living area is generous and open-plan in nature with a generous lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen (5 ring gas hob, extractor, double oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer). Also of note is a dedicated utility room which is definitely handy for extended stays. 3 bedrooms are served by a 3 piece suite bathroom with separate shower whilst the main bedroom has en-suite and dressing room. The lodge is fully double glazed and served by gas central heating.
Historically, the main building of Plas Coch (Grade II* Listed) was built in 1569 as an exceptional example of a late C16 country gentry house, in the early Renaissance style favoured by high officials of the period, retaining much of its original external detail with sympathetic C19 additions in the character of the original.
For the perfect place to relax and unwind, look no further than Plas Coch. Whether you’re seeking to make the most of some downtime in the award-winning leisure complex complete with hydrotherapy pool, spa and well-being rooms, or sampling exquisite cuisine in one of the on-site restaurants, you’ll feel perfectly pampered and well-rested with our fantastic facilities.
Plas Coch is positioned just a short distance from the scenic Moel Y Don promontory from where there are boat launching facilities onto the Menai Strait. Excellent amenities and a mainline railway station can be found in nearby Llanfairpwll which lies approximately 3½ miles distant. Anglesey has a diverse coastline, some stunning beaches and over 120 miles of coastal pathways at your disposal. The area offers much in terms of watersports and leisure facilities whilst the proximity of the A55 allows easy access to the ferry port at Holyhead, the Eryri/Snowdonia National Park and the eastbound coastal towns and resorts along the North Wales coast.
