A Christmas card success. Mr Richard Wyn Roberts from Bangor designed two Christmas cards late last year in memory of his brother Meirion, who sadly passed away to cancer shortly before. The beautiful designs mirrored Uxbridge Square in Menai Bridge and Bangor’s Town Clock with the inside reading “wishing you a very merry Christmas/Yn dymuno Nadolig Llawen iawn i chi.”

Local businesses, including ourselves, sold the personal cards via our offices/stores to the community which proved to be a huge hit.

An impressive £272 was raised in total for the NHS Charity, Awyr Las with all profits from sales donated to the Palliative Care Unit in Bodfan Eryri Hospital.

Mr Roberts said, “A big thank you to Plus 39 Café, Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents and everyone else who helped me with the sales.”
