From Saturday Viewer to Branch Manager: Celebrating 20 Years with Sophie Owen
Published 16th October By Paul Tilbury“I started my career with Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents when I was just 22 and had recently given birth to my second child. My daughter was only three months old when I joined the company as a Saturday Viewer.
On quieter Saturdays, I would also turn my hand to cleaning the Caernarfon office! At the time, I must admit it was a bit of an escape from the children.
Once my children were old enough, I decided it was time to take the next step and joined the company full-time as a Sales and Lettings Negotiator. I quickly discovered just how much I enjoyed the world of property, the people I worked with and, most importantly, helping clients through what can be one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
After gaining experience and building my career within the company, I decided to put myself forward for the position of Branch Manager when my manager retired. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity, and I haven’t looked back since.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time as Branch Manager. I’m incredibly proud of how much the Caernarfon office has grown, and of the fantastic team and reputation we have built along the way.
What started as a Saturday job when I was a young mum has grown into a career I’m genuinely passionate about. After all these years, I still love what I do, the people I meet and the challenges that each day brings. I’m proud to have grown alongside Dafydd Hardy and to have played a part in taking the Caernarfon office from strength to strength.”
Everyone at Dafydd Hardy would like to congratulate Sophie on reaching this remarkable 20-year milestone. Her dedication, leadership and commitment to clients have made a lasting impact on both the Caernarfon office and the wider business, and we look forward to many more successful years ahead. Diolch Sophie x
