Deal Maker of the Year 2020!

Another fantastic achievement within the company, this time from our incredible Commercial Manager, Sarah Morton. Despite the challenges of the last 9 months, Sarah won this year’s Estate Gazette North Wales Dealmaker of the year for 2020! The competition counts all commercial deals, acquisition and disposals, completed over the last 12 months in the North Wales region.

During Sarah’s many years with us, she has gained a vast amount of expertise in the commercial sector and effectively built a great list of local connections. Her dedication and commitment to her role makes this success very much deserved. Sarah is a hugely valued member of the Dafydd Hardy team and we extremely proud of her.

Sarah’s comment: The local commercial market has been surprisingly buoyant over the past 12 months with a significant increase in demand for industrial units, development land and High Street retail units. We’ve seen a trend away from the High Street by many national brands, but independent local businesses have been opening up in their place. Whilst the short term prospects for the commercial market may seem volatile to an outsider, at Dafydd Hardy we feel that the long term perspective looks healthy.
