Most of us spend pennies there but for one person who moved to Llanerchymedd, a few pounds has transformed this former public toilet from its 1970’s utilitarian background into a delightful Detached 2 Bedroom Cottage with cosy, high spec accommodation for those looking for something a little different.

Chanel 4’s ‘Amazing Small Spaces’ might have inspired many of us and it’s not hard to see why when you take a look inside this new renovation.  Gone are the local authority fittings to now offer a contemporary home, quaint with a modern interior, all brand new appliances and with the very best use of space.

The renovation has been followed closely by the locals, many of whom have been employed for the building work, and the positive comments now it’s finished reflect the ‘wow factor’ it generates especially at Christmas time when the warmth of the Christmas lights emphasise its cosy interior.  With councils now widening their remit on planning permission and over 600 public authority buildings shut for good in the past 18 months, we’re likely to see more conversion like this coming to market.
