This St Davids Day saw our Holyhead office hit Rhosneigr’s beaches in support of Keep Wales Tidy and their new #SpringCleanCymru campaign. Dafydd Hardy and other members of the community welcomed in spring by clearing the area of any rubbish or waste, celebrating Wales’ patron saint day with a touch of class.

The first nationwide event of its kind, #SpringCleanCymru is a new initiative aimed at helping clean up our beautiful Wales. Organised by Keep Wales Tidy, the aim is to inspire the people of Wales to get outdoors, to be active and to be proud of where they live.

With countless clean-up events happening across Wales throughout the week, the campaign can certainly be considered a great success. In Rhosneigr alone, over 50 people from various parts of the community got involved. Most refreshing to see was Rhosneigr Primary School braving the deceptively cold weather. Seeing so many children feeling inspired enough to get out and help the community was a delightful sight to see.

Keep Wales Tidy are a charity working to protect the Welsh environment. To find out more about this new campaign you can visit their website at www.keepwalestidy.cymru. More photos of the day can be found on the Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents Facebook page.
