Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents has announced that it will be sponsoring this year’s Awyr Las charity 1 mile family fun run, taking place alongside a 5k run for elite and novice runners within the beautiful grounds of the National Trust’s Plas Newydd, Anglesey, on Saturday 5th September.

Staff members from Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents will be taking part in the fun, staging an entertaining twist on the family-focused mile event by asking people to join them for the ‘Onesie Mile Challenge’.

Dafydd Hardy, Managing Director of Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents explains more;

“The Dafydd Hardy 1 Mile fun run is open to people of all ages; mums, dads, youngsters and even grandparents. It’s a great excuse to have some fun together whilst supporting hospitals and healthcare areas that are so crucial to us all, but more importantly, to help make a difference for local patients.”

Susan Jones, Dafydd Hardy’s Service & Sales Manager, who is taking part in the fun run adds:

“Come September, I may regret saying that I will run in a onesie and make myself look utterly ridiculous, but what the heck, it’s all for a good cause! Why not come and join us?”

Agents from various branches across Gwynedd have already pledged to take on the fun run challenge and wish to encourage local families and youngsters to join them by wearing fancy dress costumes for the fun run to support patients in North Wales.

Chris Clark, Awyr Las Race Director said:

“The Awyr Las 5k run and Dafydd Hardy 1 mile fun run will give people of all ages an opportunity to run together, keep fit and give something back to their local healthcare services by raising money for areas close to their heart.

“We will have a special prize for the best fancy dress costume, which will be judged by Dafydd Hardy himself.”

The two running events set within 169 acres of woodland and parkland in the Estate of the Marquess of Anglesey, will feature an event village with entertainment, access to the National Trust grounds free of charge and fun for all the family.
