When the hammer falls in the hands of Dafydd Hardy later this week, it will be North Wales children’s hospice celebrating the sales.
Our co-director is leading a fundraising auction for Tŷ Gobaith, the region’s only children’s hospice, in the luxurious surroundings of Plas Rhianfa on the banks of the Menai Strait.
The lavish event features a drinks reception, three-course dinner and finally the auction, where prizes up for grabs include a signed Liverpool FC football, a chartered Rib Ride and a weekend away at a sumptuous holiday lodge on the Lleyn Peninsula.
Dafydd says: “Tŷ Gobaith does such outstanding work in North Wales that we’re only too pleased to help run this very special auction.
“Auctions are one of our specialties so I hope to bring a little professionalism to the proceedings, as well as a good dose of fun!
“It promises to be a great occasion and I hope the bidders can dig deep into their pockets to help this wonderful cause.”
Hospice fundraiser Katrina Lawson said: “We are delighted Dafydd Hardy agreed to run our auction as we know they will do a great job to help us raise much-needed funds.
“We’re really looking forward to what promises to be a great event in a fabulous setting!”
The Tŷ Gobaith charity auction takes place this Thursday (May 16).
