The sad loss of Irfon Williams

A personal friend, known by many within the company and friend of the business has sadly passed away today.  Irfon Williams has fought tirelessly with cancer for a number of years, while also helping countless others by raising awareness and funds for the Alaw cancer unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd via the Awyr Las charity.  

We took part in a number of events to help the #TeamIrfon campaign, which was started by Irfon shortly after being diagnosed.  Irfon raised over £150,000 to support patients, like him, while also fighting his own battle with cancer.  A recent S4C documentary followed Irfon, giving an insight to the incredible man and his work in the community.

Despite being faced with devastating news, having over 50 chemotherapy sessions and countless operations – he continued to raise awareness for the illness and support many local charities.  He was an incredible father, husband and example to us all.  He will be missed by not only me, my family and colleagues, but the local community. Nos da Irfon.
