We brave the waves in aid of Hospice at Home

The Great Strait Raft Run attracted crowds of people to both Y Felinheli and Menai Bridge this bank holiday Sunday.

Around 30 rafts in all shapes and sizes took part in the annual event, all raising money for charity.

We braved the waves to raise money for Hospice at Home, Gwynedd and Anglesey.  This local community charity cares for patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses across Gwynedd & Anglesey.  While also providing support to help patients live as actively as possible, and their families to cope during the patient’s illness.

Our race mascot Donald and his crew put in an amazing effort both before and during the race.  While we didn’t set a new course records, the team did a fantastic job and raised money for a great local cause – plus we didn’t sink!

Thanks for all the support and donations.
